Essay to be Published

Hiroko Koshino will publish her essay Danjiri Kachan to Akantare Hiroko (Danjiri Mother and Wimpy Hiroko) on Thursday, October 27th. In the book, she talks all about her mother Ayako Koshino, who is a model of now-showing NHK TV drama "Carnation" and is famous for being a pioneer in Japanese fashion field as well as the mother of the three Koshino sisters who also gained reputations as famous fashion designers. Ayako had loved and lived for all her life in her hometown Kishiwada in Osaka Prefecture, where is famous for the Danjiri floats festival. After three years of her death, she is still loved as "mother in Kishiwada" by many people. We believe you enjoy this essay on Ayako's daring life written in Hiroko's witty Osaka dialect.

Artistic Gymnastics World Championships Tokyo 2011

Hiroko Koshino designed the Team Japan uniforms for artistic gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics this year again. Currently Team Japan's brilliant performances at Artistic Gymnastics World Championships Tokyo 2011 are being covered by the media everyday.   We shall be delighted if you could check out their  uniforms as well, of which the design inspiration came from ink-wash paintings and with uplifting feelings  expressed by dynamic brushwork. Hiroko also designed medals for the championships which has been highly reputated.

The tournament, where Hiroko has gone to see a few times, will be until Sunday, October 16th.

2012 Spring/Summer Tokyo Collection

HIROKO KOSHINO 2012 Spring/Summer Collection was shown on Thursday, October 6th, at Ebisu Garden Hall. Inspired by abundance of colors Hiroko imbibed in Mexico, the collection included vivid colors which reminds bright sunshine reflection, befit for bright spring and summer collection. Indigenous students from Taiwan Shih Chien University offered their ethnic chorus for the show BGM, and two members sang live at the finale of the show, which received extensive applause from the audience. Thank you very much for coming to our show and sending us gorgeous flowers.
